Stockholm and Skåne: Functional capacity improvement in client-oriented home care
In 2009-2013, NHG Sweden took part in several local and national projects, which aimed at a comprehensive improvement in elderly services from the customer-oriented viewpoint. Cooperation in and between the municipalities and county councils was encouraged with organisational reforms and incentive plans. The projects sought to emphasise customer-orientation in improving the functional capacity of the elderly. NHG has helped develop and implement new operational and organisational models to be employed in creating better incentives for the improvement of the functional capacity of the elderly including new compensation models. The development and implementation has taken place in the Stockholm area and in Skåne, for example.
